Costume Contest - Dress like Rosie the Riveter.

We are excited to announce our first annual Rosie the Riveter costume contest! Guests are invited to come dressed in their best Rosie costume for the chance to enter the contest and win fun prizes! Celebrate Rosie’s amazing legacy and honor the women who stepped up during the time of war to carry out the duties on the home front.

Rosie the Riveter was at the frontline of a campaign geared towards recruiting female workers for defense industries during World War II. What better way to honor such a critical individual in American history than recreating her iconic look?

Our main emphasis is Rosie the Riveter. However, we welcome other costumes based on historical figures - Amelia Earhart and James Doolittle for example. All costumes will be judged on historical accuracy, creativity, and spirit!

Sign up by 1:00pm in the main lobby of Hangar 37. Judging and the winner selection will be announced at 3:00pm in Hangar 79.
